In mid-October, I turn 66. Would someone please tell me where the time has gone?! The good news is: I am in good health and I love what I do. Being the Broker-in-Charge for 50 agents at Keller Williams Realty keeps me busy -- and therefore out of trouble!
Real Estate News: I would like to introduce you to Allan Nanney. Allan has 25 years in the real estate industry (as both a broker and manager of a large firm). Before real estate, Allan worked in financial management, planning and consulting. He's a real go-getter, good with numbers, and I like to think we share a similar work ethic and philosophy (except he's much younger!). Check out Allan's website at: http://www.allannanney.com/ and/or his Blog at http://activerain.com/allannanney.
I would really appreciate your looking to Allan just as you would have looked to me. Because I am so busy as Broker-in-Charge, I have made arrangements with Allan to take the lead with my data base. Allan will continue to provide you with periodic updates on what is happening in the local real estate market just as Gina and I have done these past 11 years. Also, Allan will be paying me a referral for any business you do with him. So please send him any of your friends that need real estate service or advice. He'll take great care of them.
Area Happenings: October is filled with festivals, antique fairs, concerts, farm tours, and the list goes on and on. Check out our "October 2009" insert for a link to all the area events. You'll also find two recipes for Apple Crisp: an "Old Fashioned Recipe" and a "Quick & Easy" variation of the same. Enjoy!
I am excited for you to meet Allan -- you should be hearing from him soon.
Sincerely,

P.S. Remember to "Fall Back" an hour on November 1st!
